Burgo Group
Burgo Group is the industrial holding of a group operating in the production and distribution of paper for the graphic sector, special papers and containerboard, as well as in the production and sale of fibrous raw materials. It has 12 factories, 15 production lines and a sale of 1.8 million tons of paper/year all over the world, paying particular attention to environmental sustainability.
The project
Following a significant debt exposure, Burgo Group turned to modefinance to create an integrated system to coordinate the management of financial exposures in all branches. We have created a risk analysis platform capable of allowing automatic updating of financial exposure data transmitted by local branches within 24 hours. To do this, we linked company financial statements to various analysis models and risk management tools for assessing both specific exposure and entire portfolios.
