Job description

As Business Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing specific customer needs, building and implementing the process of Tigran Risk Platform’s configuration.

Your team’s goal is to fuel a strong relationship with the customer. You will be part of the Fintech’s Tigran team, reporting directly to Mrs. Rebecca Bassi. The Tigran Team works for the maintenance, development and custom implementation of the Tigran platform, a keystone for the entire financial and fintech world.

This role will be based in our modefinance HQ in the amazing Trieste, Italy with regular travel expected.

Activities

You will:

  • Have a first-hand participation in the platform development
  • Get the platform’s set up accountability, from the ground up all the way to the help-desk phase
  • Solve contingencies and bugs along with the internal IT team
  • Write documentation for the customers.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (EQF lvl 6) in Economic studies, natural sciences or statistical sciences, min 100/110 or upper 86% of corresponding grading scale
  • English B2 level
  • Knowledge of basic financial statement’s analysis
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office system
  • A truthful willing to learn and grow
  • A team-first worker, with relational skills and predisposition to work by objectives
  • Autonomy and predisposition to problem solving

What makes the difference:

  • Master’s degree (EQF lvl 7) in economics or in statistical sciences applied to economics, min 105/110 or upper 90% of corresponding grading scale
  • Previous professional experience or academic knowledge of banking processes
  • Previous professional experience or academic knowledge of the Middle East and Far East markets
  • Good communicational skills
  • Knowledge of at least one of these programming languages: Python, Matlab, R, Stata

Nice to have:

  • A minimum of 1 course in statistics and 1 course in the field of financial institutions
  • Previous professional experience or academic knowledge of Middle East economic and financial ecosystem
  • Proficiency of at least one of these programming languages: Python, Matlab, R, Stata
  • Arabic B2 level.
